Two posts in a week! I'm on a roll!
I hope all of my fabulous readers are well. I don't know about y'all, but the weather had been CRAZY by me. On Monday we had a hail storm! A hail storm in 90 degree weather... I don't get it. Luckily there was no damage to the house or the cars (and the hail was pretty big). Funny story about the hail storm. Angel decided that she loves hail storms and dragged my sister on a long and luxurious walk outside. From inside I watched Angel prance happily along while my sister yelled in pain from being pelted with hail. Needless to say that made my day ;)
Movin' on... I figured I'd share a mixtape for y'all today. Apparently people like my taste in music, so maybe I'll make this a weekly thing. Would you guys like that?
This week's mixtape is comprised of some old folk songs (or old folk songs recorded by modern artists) that have been stuck in my head recently.
Yup... I listen to stuff like this all the freaking time. My favorite Pandora station is the "Chad Mitchell Trio" station. I don't know about you guys, but I've had "Marching to Pretoria" stuck in my head for WEEKS! And I sincerely hope that I am not the only one that thinks the one of The Limeliters sounds like Mandy Patinkin.
So what do y'all think of my taste in music? Awesome? Horrible? Want to recommend something good for me to listen to? Tell me in the comments! I'm actually curious as to what y'all will recommend. Maybe next week I'll do a playlist of songs from this decade ;)
Crippie's Tippie - Walking a dog in a hail storm? Use an umbrella!
I love your taste in music, which surprises me because I'm older than the hills and dirt combined and you are young. I've never liked rock at all and so often that is the only music the younger generation likes. I should have known tho that you would have more refined taste than that since you love musical theater! Your play list is awesome and I really mean that.
ReplyDeleteAwe thank ya! I'll keep making them for you! I'm not a big fan of rock music either... too loud for my liking.
